Why is she so fucking pretty??
I hate that she cut her hair though!

  7. The song was written in 1918, by Turner Layton and Henry Creamer, and introduced onstage at the Winter Garden Theater by Al Jolson, in that year. First recording was by Marion Harris in that same year. Jolson, also, recorded a version of it.

  10. My husband just shared this with me-wonderful. Glad someone has a sense of history and can give new life to a song that is almost one hundred years old!

  11. Amazing musician :)

  12. @Zackiesmomma

I just heard it and she is truely superb.

  13. Damn, I wanna blow a huge load all over that beautiful, sad face…

  14. When she does this kind of a song, all I can think is that she was supposed to have been born in an earlier era. But thank God she wasn’t and we get to experience her wonderful talent. She’s such an exotic beauty! Her eyes! Hollywood needs to put her in a movie. If you like this song, listen to her do “Why Try To Change Me Now”. OMG.

  15. I hate to think about after I’ve gone away.
But it’s the only thing that’s for sure.

  16. she’s so pretty! a unique beauty :)

  17. Suzy Bogguss has a lovely voice, smooth and clear, but I have to say I prefer this version. Suzy’s treatment of the song is just a little too conventional for my taste. Fiona’s version just has more passion to it. It’s rougher than Suzy’s, but it’s real.

Suzy Bogguss wipes the floor with this version. Just thought you should know.

  22. This is a classic song. The first recording of it I ever heard was by Al Jolson, and I loved it immediately. Since then I’ve heard many versions, but this one is absolutely superb!

  23. I’m just mesmerized.

  24. And I thought I was obsessed with her. haha but yes, she’s got it all… that voice.
