when i select my 3.1.2 firmware on red snow, it says “processing firmware…” for about 5-10 seconds and then it says “unable to recognize specifies IPSW”. what is wrong?
@pollito12120 The same thing happend to me, when ur screen turns black just hold home and power button for 10 sec and the iphone will be normal again, but just try to jailbreak again and again untill it works, it worked for me .
best way to do this is by tryin to jailbreak a fully fresh copy of restore. use itunes to wipe the iphone and then try it. i tried it without it and failed soo many times.

I found out, it didn’t work because, i found out it is a 2nd gen mc model…

If I jailbreak my iPhone 3g will all of my music still be on it after the jailbreak or will I have to reinstall it all and my apps too?
