hehe, I see this ipad as a completely worthless pile of crapola. i would rather use a netbook, which is by far better then this overpriced giant iPhone that they call an “iPad”.
A waste of money unless your camping. Don’t see using this and a car cause most vechicles have tv’s in them already but for those that don’t i guess it’s okay if you have only one kid. Maybe good for reading to your children for either going to sleep or just to them period. Still, I see this burning a deeper hole in your pocket.

They made mention of accessing content created by the apps on the iPad.
Notice that doesn’t necessarily imply files or filesystems or anything analogous to a Finder.
The iPad has Bluetooth and WiFi. Apple has created Bonjour and GameKit.
There’s a lot to the iPad that won’t be realized until iti’s…..realized.

A JB iPod is all fine and good but the point is if apple has closed their app source, I shouldn’t have to hack my iPad to get it to work properly. Closing the source means they have the responsibility to me as the consumer to meet my needs because they prevent others from doing so.

No, I don’t buy iPads for jail break them, if I’m going to give Apple money they will provide me what I want software wise right out of the box and that means flash.
They want to close the source for software it’s their responsibility to me as a consumer to provide me with the software I need, or I refuse to give them my money.

People constantly talk trash about the iPad when it’s not even out yet. Yes, we know most of what it has to offer but the thing is, it IS a lot like a big iPod Touch. You don’t just buy the iPod touch for the music and video, there are Classics and Nanos for that. No, you get the iPod touch for the Apps and you will do the same for the iPad. Althought there aren’t really any apps out yet, I am almost certain the iPad will revolve around apps much like the Touch. Just give it a chance.
