Steve jobs is telling it as if the Apple company was condemned to failure, and that he was asked to make something out of the failure itself.
But the ship image is pretty darn funny in a sens that he wasn’t asked to fill buckets and get rid of the water, but just to do as if nothing happened and navigate the sinking boat.

but theirs no way of knowing weather or not someone else would have came up with the same idea. if anything it may have still happened but we would be now like we were in the early 90′s.
which of course would probably mean no I-Pod XD (which would seriously suck)

the thing is that microsoft revoloutionised the way we interact with computers and also the internet. not to mention if windows hadnt been here then would the ipod, 97 percent of the market is windows so how the hell would people have been able to put their music on their ipods without the windows platform. if it wasnt for windows then the world would be a duller place
MAC is really for rich people… who can effort if theire salary just a few bucks…why not just use linux… same quality as MAC. If microsoft want to standardise all over the world use microsoft OS, they cannot take charge on operating system…. The programer who develope third party software have to support microsoft…but who is rich? …microsoft…. it’s not fair.
