AT&T will allow people with currently unfulfilled iPad 3G orders to get unlimited data plans, the carrier has stated through its Facebook page. While the company has previously guaranteed that anyone with an iPad 3G by June 7th will be able to renew unlimited data, the issue has been murky until now for people who only have a unit on order. When AT&T customers in the U.S. finally have access to tethering on their iPhone, it won’t work with Apple’s iPad due to software limitations, not AT&T policy.

The Skype app for iPhone [App Store] has been updated to allow voice calls to be made over 3G data networks. Skype is a popular VOIP (voice over IP) application that allows users to make phone calls from their computer or mobile phone over a network connection. Valve officially revealed Monday that its Steam online gaming service, along with the Source engine that powers titles such as Half-Life 2 and Left 4 Dead 2, is coming to the Mac in April.
Valve’s library of games will be making the jump from Windows Machines, including Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life series.

Apple may soon allow for in-app paid upgrades, as indicated by an iTunes dialog posted on Twitter by developer Fraser Speirs. The alert notifies customers that a certain discounted price is only available for users who own a previous version of the item. The dialog allegedly surfaced when Speirs attempted to update all of his apps.
