There has been a lot of talk lately about Apple neglecting its core business – Macs and Mac OS X – supposedly because the company is too busy selling mobile devices powered by iOS, namely iPhone 4 and iPad. But rest assured, the Mac isn’t going anywhere. It’s still the #1 revenue generator and now Apple tells us that Mac OS X 10.7 will “truly amaze everyone.” But don’t take my word for it, the quoted phrase was spotted in a job post at Apple’s site and immediately put the rumor-mill in overdrive. Apple’s newly updated Mac desktops feature only ATI graphics

BMW is the first car manufacturer to have announced support for a little-known feature in iOS 4 called iPod Out. CNET reported last week on this new iOS 4 feature: This feature allows a connected iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, or iPod Touch (second or third generation) to output and display an iPod interface on a connected device’s external screen.
