Today at 8:30am Apple opened up their iPad pre-orders. If you want to ensure that you get yours on day one, this is the way to do it.
If you pre-order the device will be delivered, for free, on Saturday April 3rd (or Monday the 5th if you don’t have Saturday delivery in your area). Apple is also offering an in-store pickup option.
The limit is two iPads per customer, but apparently you can pre-order two for delivery and two for in-store pickup if you need four.
These dates only apply to the WiFi models. The 3G-enabled ones will be shipping in “late April”.
